More Cornerboys updates

August 25, 2010

Wow, Cornerboys seems to be really hopping nowadays, nearly a year into its existence. I’ve just found out that we’ll be screened not once but twice at DragonCon in Atlanta: Friday Sept. 3rd at 7pm as part of the first animation block, and 7pm Saturday Sept. 4th as part of the wonderfully titled “Magic, Mayhem, and Superhuman Powers” block. I hope we’re the “mayhem.” DragonCon is a huge event, attended this year by an estimated 40,000 people. If you’re in the Atlanta area, or are able to get there, it will be a really great weekend, AND you can stop by and say hi to Ali and me, who will be at both screenings (we’ll be wandering around slack-jawed the rest of the weekend).

Closer to home, I’ve also just been invited to be a guest at ValleyCon, the sci-fi/fantasy convention held each year in Fargo. Cornerboys will be screened there as well, Ali and I will be on a filmmakers panel, and I’ll also be on a discussion panel about vampires. I’ll post details here as soon as I have them. Of course, we’d love to see you there as well.

Otherwise, the novel is in copyediting, and we’re still hard at work on the first Blind Mice album, details of which will be posted on the Blind Mice site once we’re done.

Hope you’re having a great end of summer.
